There were 150 students from Mount Carmel Middle School who presented their family name on May 5.
The Mount Carmel School Heritage “I Na’an Familia” activity was held on May 5 in its Phoenix Hall at its campus in Hagat.
Presentations were based on research they’ve conducted on their surnames and their family trees, according to Krystal Agustin, the principal of Mount Carmel School.
Students presented through display boards of their family trees and judges were given a rubric to grade the boards and the overall presentations.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to witness our students engage in what family clans they come from and how the family names were founded,” Agustin told the Pacific News Center.
