Guam – The MTM Falcons & Santa Rita Braves Claimed Wins in Saturday GMBL Action.
The 10 am  game at the Paseo featured the Triple J Blue Jays and Tamuning Twins who played to a 7-7 tie. The next game at 12:30 p.m. had the Kosrae Masters crushing the Docomo Mangachongs 21-12. Later at 3:00 p.m. the Asan Rai held off the Yona Masters 6-2.
 
At 5:30 p.m. the MTM Falcons defeated the Pohnpei Masters 12-8. The Falcons breaking out with three runs in the top of the first, and five runs in the top of the second to take an 8-3 lead after two complete innings. Pohnpei bounced back with four in the bottom of the third, but it wasn’t enough as MTM’s Raymond Blas closed out the last three innings giving up just one run. MTM’s Ron Quitano was 3-for-5, RBI, two runs scored.
 
In the nightcap at 8:00 p.m. the Santa Braves took care of the Yona Red Hawks 13-8. Santa Rita scoring seven in the bottom of the third, while Braves starter Tony Lizama kept the Red Hawks to just two runs in four innings of work. Santa Rita’s Jeff Kosaka was 2-for-3, with a double, two RBI, and a run scored.
 
The action continues on Monday, April 9, at the Paseo Stadium with the ACI Masters taking on the Kleene Guard Cardinals at 6 p.m. followed by Chevy Silverado and Guahan Old School in the nightcap at 8:30 pm.

(Hagatna, Guam) A full schedule of games took place at Paseo Stadium on Saturday, April 07, 2012 in the Guam Masters Baseball League (GMBL).  At 10:00 a.m. the Triple J Blue Jays and Tamuning Twins played to a 7-7 tie.
