Nationwide Recall of Corona Extra Includes Guam

Although the recall is a result of particles of glass being discovered in some beer, no injuries have been reported to date.

Guam – The Wall Street Journal is reporting that a recall of Corona Extra beer includes bottles brought to Guam.

Constellation Brands Inc. issued the recall because about one in every 5000 bottles of beer may contain small particles of glass.  Both 12-packs and 18-packs are being recalled, though no injuries have been reported to date.

In a statement, Constellation Brands Beer Division President Paul Hetterich said, “We’re actively working with our distributor partners are retailers to quickly resolve the matter.”
