Guam- What does it mean to eat your heritage? That’s what the Guam Humanities Council (GHC) answers with visiting Native American Chefs Dr. Lois Ellen Frank and Walter Whitewater as they draw the connection between food and our cultural, spiritual and physical environments.

Dr. Frank also celebrated her birthday today [Tuesday].

The Chefs held a free community lecture at Government House, which started at 6 p.m called “Seeds of Health- the Return to Ancestral Foods.” They and other local chefs are also part of the Eat Your Heritage Gala event on Saturday, October 1 for GHC’s 20th anniversary at the Hyatt hotel.
