Naval Base Guam: On-Base Road Closures This Weekend Due to Unexploded Ordnance Survey

Guam – Naval Base Guam has announced on its Facebook page that there will be some road closures, on base, this coming Saturday and Sunday while a survey for “potential” unexploded ordnance is conducted.

The announcement reads:

“Due to ground surveys for potential unexploded ordnance in areas of upcoming construction projects, there will be traffic control points surrounding the Child Development Center on 24-25 August from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.”

“Multiple houses and the theater will need to be cleared. Haputo Road will be controlled.”
