Pearl Harbor, Hawaii – Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific reminds the community of the June 16 deadline to submit public comments for the identification and eligibility of cultural resources associated with Military Construction (MILCON) Project P-230, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Shop, GSE Holding Shed, Aviation Armament Shop and Aviation Life Support Systems Shop.
This project, located on Andersen Air Force Base, includes the construction of a one-story high-bay composite facility with four separate components including a maintenance shop, holding shed, aviation armament shop aviation life support systems shop. It will also involve necessary site preparation and utility work.
The 45-day public comment period for this proposed MILCON project began Apr. 30 when the information contained in the Programmatic Agreement (PA) Memo was made available on the NAVFAC Pacific Cultural Resources Information (CRI) Web site.
The community may review the PA Memo by visiting the CRI Web site at http://go.usa.gov/kZWG. (Please note the URL is case sensitive). Comments will be accepted through Monday, June 16 (ChST), and may be submitted electronically to email@example.com.
Those without internet access may obtain a hard copy of the PA Memo from the Guam Historic Resources Division, located at 490 Chalan Palasyo, Agana Heights, 96910 (in the Department of Parks and Recreation Office).
