Guam – Naval Facilities Engineering Command [NAVFAC] Marianas will hold a hearing this Tuesday on the results of their “Tear Gas Burial Site” study on Guam.
“The Tear Gas Burial Site Public Meeting will begin at 6:30pm Tuesday July 26th at the Audio-Visual Room 1, RFK Library, University of Guam.”
The results of their study of a suspected old tear gas site and the supporting environmental documents are available for review at the Information Repository of the Nieves M. Flores Memorial Library in Hagatna.
The Tear Gas Burial site study was prepared by the the Navy in coordination with the Guam EPA and the U.S. EPA.
Tuesday’s meeting starts the clock ticking on a 30-day public comment period on the proposed tear gas burial site.
Written comments will also be accepted through August 26th.
