Navy assists with back to school clean-up

U.S. Naval Base Guam Sailors and personnel partnered with multiple tenant commands to assist with clean-up efforts at George Washington High School (GWHS) in Mangilao, Aug. 5.

The collaborative beautification effort was an opportunity for Sailors and personnel to assist with preparing the school for its reopening at the start of the new school year.

The following commands participated:

NBG Fire and Emergency Services
U.S. Naval Hospital Guam
Naval Airborne Weapons Maintenance Unit One Military Sealift Command Guam

The GWHS campus is one of 40 Guam Department of Education schools, preparing to return to face-to-face learning on Aug. 12.
