Navy to Conduct Underwater Detonation Training at Agat Bay

Guam – The Navy will conduct training at the Agat Bay Underwater Detonation Site starting tomorrow October 5th through Wednesday October 6th from  8am to 6 pm.

The general public is advised to stay clear from this area during the times and dates indicated.

Underwater detonation operations require no vessel traffic or personnel within a 700 yard radius of the detonation position.

Agat Bay is known as a tourist area for dolphin watching and is also the location of an underwater detonation site. 

The Agat Bay detonation position is 13-23-00N/144-35-00E.

Santa Rita, Guam (Oct. 4, 2010) – The Navy will conduct training at Agat Bay Underwater Detonation Site on Oct. 5-6 from 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
