New Battalion Commander to Lead First Command Run Sunday July 20th

Guam – Lt. Col. Romeo Delfin, Commander, 1-294th Infantry Regiment, will lead about 400 Battalion Soldiers on a unit formation run through the village of Dededo this Sunday, July 20th, beginning at 5 o’clock in the morning.
                                                                                                          
The Soldiers will form up, at the Dededo Regional Health Center, beginning at about 4:30 a.m.  The unit will be running along West San Antonio Avenue, through Delores Street, along West Santa Barbara Avenue, around Lencho Park and back onto West San Antonio Avenue, finishing at the Regional Health Center.
                                                                                                          
The Battalion is currently conducting annual training and Sunday’s run will mark the conclusion of that training as well as the first run in which Lt. Col. Delfin, who took command last month, will lead as Commander.
                                                                                                          
Soldiers will be posted at all intersections and along the route for safety; however, motorists are requested to drive slowly and proceed with caution as they drive through the village of Dededo during the hours of 4:30 a.m. until about 8 a.m. on Sunday, especially in the vicinity of the formation.
