You may notice something new about one popular park known as the host location of marathons, relays, and festivals in Ypao.
This morning a new gate was presented in Ypao at the Governor Joseph Flores Memorial Park. The Department of Parks & Recreation, Governor Ray Tenorio, and Senator Tina Muna Barnes joined GVB in cutting the ribbon to the renovated gate.
The gate renovation was funded by GVB’s Destination Developing division because it was falling apart and becoming an obstacle for buses and larger passenger vehicles. The two months of renovations included the removal of island medians, replacement of bollards, restructuring of curbsides and a fresh coat of paint.
