New Tumon Central Air Terminal Opens

You can now check in at T-Galleria and stroll Tumon before your flight.

Guam – If you’re flying with United and leaving off island soon, you can now check in your luggage at the T-Galleria and hang out in Tumon before your flight.

The Guam Visitors Bureau, T-Galleria by DFS and United Airlines partnered up to open the Tumon Central Air Terminal. Their goal is to provide world class travel services to the island’s visitors. The new United Airlines service counter located on the ground floor of the shopping plaza provides an alternative check-in location in the heart of Tumon. Travelers can check in early, receive their boarding passes, and shop or sightsee before being shuttled to the airport. T Galleria will also provide scheduled shuttle service for United passengers to the A.B. Won Pat International Airport. From there, passengers can proceed directly to the TSA Checkpoint to board their flights.
GVB General Manager Nate Denight says with this new TCAT providing world class service, he hopes it’ll support their Tourism 2020 goal of reaching 2 million visitors to the island by the year 2020. Denight says, “You know it all starts with the visitors experience offering these world class amenities is what helps us reach those goals. It builds our brand. This service is perfect as we look towards Tourism 2020. This year we had a record breaking number of tourists and this year we’re on track of breaking that record.”
DFS Mid Pacific VP of Operations Martin Matthews says, “I believe it will lead to the customers of Guam, once visitors get on that airplane, it’ll be one of the experiences they’ll remember and treasure as part of the Guam experience.”
TCAT is open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is a full service counter where United passengers can enjoy services such as making changes to itineraries, securing seat assignments, purchasing tickets and checking in for flights.
