The unofficial figures are in and it seems Nissan Guam has broken the Guinness world record for the longest motorcade of Nissan cars.

The record-breaking motorcade was held Sunday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. starting from John F. Kennedy High School to Paseo Park in Hagatna.

The current record is 250 Nissan cars and was set in Mesquite, TX, in May 2017.

But Nissan Guam beat this handily with a lot to spare.

Nissan Guam was looking for more than 251 cars to join them in their record-breaking attempt but ended up with 321 vehicles, almost a hundred more than expected.

However, Nissan Guam said this is still unofficial as it still has to submit all evidence and documentation to Guinness for them to verify.

Registration for the event was $10 and each driver received a limited-edition World Record Driver T-shirt and a free entry into the raffle drawing, with prizes including a $1,000 travel voucher from United Airlines, a $500 gift certificate to Macy’s, stand-up paddleboards and more.

All proceeds will benefit Mañelu, Guam Girl Scouts and Catholic Social Services.
