Nissan Guam is aiming to break the world record for the longest motorcade of Nissan vehicles and is inviting Nissan owners to join them in the attempt this Sunday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m.

The current record is 250 Nissan cars and was set in Mesquite, TX, in May 2017, but Nissan Guam is looking for more than 251 cars to join them in their record-breaking attempt.

The motorcade is sanctioned by the Guinness Book of World Records, and is open to all Nissan vehicles.

It will start at John F. Kennedy High School and proceed to Paseo Park in Hagatna.

Registration is still open for anyone wishing to be part of Nissan Guam’s official record-breaking attempt. Interested participants can register at nissanguam.com/worldrecord, or at the Nissan Guam showroom in Upper Tumon. Registration will end Saturday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m.

Registration is $10 and each driver will receive a limited-edition World Record Driver t-shirt and a free entry into the raffle drawing, with prizes including a $1,000 travel voucher from United Airlines, a $500 gift certificate to Macy’s, stand-up paddleboards and more.

All proceeds will benefit Mañelu, Guam Girl Scouts and Catholic Social Services.
