The National Weather Service office in Tiyan has its eye on a developing disturbance north of Kwajalein.
It is showing signs of development now and is likely to become better organized in the next couple days.
It is currently moving WNW and will continue toward the WNW or the NW in the next few days.
Forecast models show a track similar to Halong, but with some models showing a passage through the northern CNMI near Pagan late Thursday or Friday.
The threat looks low for Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan. However, the weather service says they’ll be keeping a close watch on the development as it evolves over the next few days.
