Guam – The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory warning of strong winds up to 30 mph through 6 pm Saturday evening.
According to the NWS a strong ridge of high pressure will produce windy conditions across the Marianas through Saturday.
Northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph with occasional gusts over 35 mph are expected today through Saturday.
Winds will be highest in exposed areas or at higher elevations.
A wind advisory means that winds of 30 mph or more are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
