Oklahoma’s Overland Corp. Gets $6.5M Contract for Repair HQ at AAFB


Guam – The Overland Corporation of Ardmore Oklahoma has been awarded a $6.5 million dollar contract to build a repair squadron headquarters at Andersen Air Force Base.

The defense.gov website reports that the $6,538,000 deal is a “firm-fixed-price task order” [0003].

The task order was granted under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N40192-10-D-2803).

The job is to build “a rapid engineer deployable heavy operational repair squadron headquarters/engineering facility at Andersen Air Force Base. 

The work is expected to be completed by October 2012.

 Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. 

Six proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Marianas selected Overland.
