Okkodo High holds graduation

Closing out high school graduation ceremonies for the year 2019, the Okkodo Bulldogs turned their tassels to the left Tuesday afternoon at the UOG Calvo Field House.

As the last graduating class for the batch of 2019, Okkodo High School held its ceremony 2 p.m. at the UOG Calvo Field House.

Dressed in robes, and uniquely decorated caps, the class eagerly awaited their diploma. The valedictorian of the class is Noah Nicholle Lee Elbo.

Also among the graduating batch are Moda Ginos Partners-In-Education scholars Jacquelyn Cabusii and Angel Ann Orlino.

The scholarship awards each recipient with $1,000 for those attending either the University of Guam or Guam Community College. It covers non-tuition costs such as textbooks.

The winners of the award were determined based on a combination of their grade point average, leadership, citizenship, and financial need.

In just a few months, they’ll be walking through these doors not as high school graduates, but as college students.
