One-Way Traffic on Route 7A Project Extended to Route 33

214

Guam – As of this morning [THURSDAY] work on the Route 7A project has been extended towards Route 8 to Route 33.

This extension will require the closure of the intersections of Martinez Lane and Tenbat Street along 7A. Motorists and residents are advised to use Roy T. Damian, Jr. (Mobil/McDonald’s & Route 8 intersection) and J.A. Camacho streets as alternate routes.

“While we are pleased with the progress of our contractor for this project, we do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to residents and motorists in the area.” said Joanne Brown, Director of the Department of Public Works. “To date this project has been on schedule and we expect to have this segment completed by the end of December.”

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and pay strict attention to traffic control signs posted along the construction area.
