Guam – Only one person was arrested in last week’s bomb threat at Andersen Air Force Base.
Lt. Col. Jeff Robinson explained to PNC News Monday that there was some initial confusion following the Thursday event and that an innocent bystander was taken in for questioning and later released.
The second man who was eventually arrested for the incident has yet to be arraigned.
Lt. Col. Robinson said he was not authorized to release the man’s name, or the circumstances that led to his arrest.
No bomb was found. But the threat resulted in a lock down of Andersen Air Force Base that lasted from about 1pm until 3pm last Thursday afternoon.
The incident remains under investigation.
