The Department of Public Health and Social Services says only 6 people were found to be positive on Tuesday, after 305 COVID-tests conducted at their outreach clinics.
Janela Carrera, the DPHSS spokesperson, says in Tiyan, Public Health teams tested 110 people and found 2 positive; in Yigo 121 were swabbed and 2 were positive, and in Agat, only 74 people turned up to be tested and 2 were confirmed there as well.
Uptake for the community COVID clinics has been slow.
Testing will be open from 9 a.m. to 12p.m. until Friday, and from 9a.m. to 2p.m. on Saturday at the Yigo Gym, Tiyan Field, and the Agat Senior Center.
It’s limited to 200 people per day through Friday and on Saturday, testing will be limited to 300 people.
No symptoms are necessary to get swabbed.
