Guam – Pacific Islands University, a U.S. accredited institution located in Mangilao, Guam, recently renewed its memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Guam Community College.
The updated MOU continues and furthers the working relationship between the two institutions. Dr. David Owen, PIU President, stated that “the PIU family is very pleased with the renewed and updated partnership with GCC. We are looking forward to shared projects and collaborative efforts that will widen opportunities for all students on Guam to succeed.”

Dr. Ray Somera, GCC Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated that, “GCC looks forward to continued collaboration with Pacific Islands University, to the benefit of students enrolled in both institutions.”
The MOU was signed on May 23, 2014 by Dr. Mary Okada, President of GCC; Dr. Ray Somera, VP for Academic Affairs of GCC; Dr. David Owen, President of PIU; and Dr. Sam Mabini, Provost of PIU.
