Participants with Guam Museum’s Ha’anen Familia event take Håfa Adai Pledge

Guam Museum Executive Director, Dominica Tolentino, and Guam Museum Sales and Marketing Manager, Pauline Okada, aid in facilitating the Håfa Adai Pledge with the Guam Museum: Ha’anen Familia participants on September 14, 2019, alongside Guam Museum community partners.

The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) held a Håfa Adai Pledge signing over the weekend for participants of the Guam Museum’s Ha’anen Familia safety event on September 14, 2019.

According to a release from GVB, participants were also joined by the Guam Fire Department, Guam Police Department, and the Office of the Attorney General of Guam. The museum event focused on island safety, with officials sharing detailed information and tips on bullying prevention, as well as civil, fire, and cyber safety.  

“This Håfa Adai Pledge ceremony is the perfect way to culminate all the teachings of this event into action. Today, we make a promise to positively contribute to our island’s safety,” said Guam Museum Sales and Marketing Manager Pauline Okada.

The Håfa Adai Pledge is celebrating its 10th year anniversary in 2019. To date more the 920 members have signed the free pledge, representing more than 43,500 individuals.
