Pay-Less Markets is the first to offer Yigo its first-ever retail pharmacy experience with the opening of SuperDrug, conveniently located inside the foyer of Yigo Pay-Less.
Yigo Mayor Rudy Matanane, participated in the blessing ceremony led by Father Gofigan last Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Mayor Matanane shares with PNC why he feels that this is a very convenient location for Yigo’s residents and why he looks forward to taking shorter trips to a pharmacy.
“This is a very convenient move for Pay-Less to service the people in buying food, groceries, medicines, and other stuff. This is going to be a lot more convenience for the residents that come to get the medicine that they need for their health. And that includes me! I get my prescription down at the mall in Dededo so that saves me several miles going down there and picking up what I need,” the mayor said.
Pay-Less Executive Vice President and General Manager Mike Benito stated in a news release: “We always felt that our customers in Yigo were under-served when it came to easy access to a pharmacy. Pay-Less SuperDrug is excited to offer this service.”
SuperDrug now has five locations: Dededo, IHP Medical Group Clinic, Oka, Yigo and Maite, which will be opening soon.
As stated in the release, a wide selection of over-the-counter medications and supplies are available, and customers may refill their prescriptions online at www.paylessmarkets.com.
Most major insurance plans, Medicare Part-D, Medicaid/MIP, and most off-island insurance will be accepted.
Pharmacy hours are Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
