Guam – Guam’s Public Broadcasting Service, or PBS, will be holding a pledge drive tonight. A release from Adelup says the proceeds will help PBS continue to provide educational and local programming on Guam.

The pre-show for the drive is running on KGTF Channel 12 until 7 p.m. The live broadcast of the pledge drive will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and will include entertainment from local artists Elle Taitague, Matua Sablan, Ben Nangauta, 5 On-It, and MiczBoys.

PBS provides family-friendly and educational shows like Reading Rainbow, Zoom, Downton Abbey, and Sherlock Holmes.

“PBS continues to provide shows that educate our community, providing children’s shows as well as political perspectives on current event issues, and entertainment,” Acting Governor Ray Tenorio said. “I encourage everyone to support the amazing service to our children and our community.”

Donations can be made during the pre-show and live broadcast by calling 734-5483 (KGTF).
