Peaceful protest today to reopen churches – ‘they are essential’

Protesters will gather Wednesday afternoon to send a message to Adelup on churches reopening: enough is enough.

In a viral message, apparently originating from the Archdiocese (according to Senator James Moylan), organizers say “we want to let the Governor know that we want our churches open and that they are essential!”

Participants are being asked to show up with their Rosary beads and signs.

The peaceful prayerful protest will be at the ITC Intersection from 4:30-5:30pm.

The call to demonstrate says, “Brothers and Sisters let us come together for the essentials of our souls.”

“We must continue with our protest. The Governor does not support the Churches opening. We need to let our voices be heard.”
