Pepsi Warriors On The Warpath In The MFL

Guam (March 28, 2014) The Pepsi Warriors were on the warpath and took out the Cars Plus Rams, 30-6, in the Miller Football League (MFL) at Hal Shiroma Field in Dededo. Pepsi quarterback Danny Manibusan threw two touch down passes; a 21-yard strike to Jacob Torres in the 1st quarter, and a five-yard pass to Paul Unger in the 4th quarter. Hosea Weare ran for two touch downs; going in from one yard out late in the 2nd quarter, and a 46-yard run in the 3rd quarter.  

The Rams roster suffering from injuries, had to shuffle the bench. Tom Medler stepped in at quarterback for the injured JJ McCloud and led the Cars Plus offense the entire night. In the 4th quarter, Medler turned a busted play into a 29-yard run for the touch down.

The Rams will face the Hal’s Angels next Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., while the Warriors take on the DLX Knights next Friday, April 4, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Both games at Hal Shiroma Field in Dededo.
