The airline’s loyalty program, Mabuhay Miles has four tiers, each with different benefits: Classic, Elite, Premier Elite, and Millionmiler.

Travel safely and worry-free with complimentary travel insurance valid until November 23rd.

Israel Fontanilla, Philippine Airlines Area Manager for NA and PG  “You actually have coverage of up to $35,000 USD for COVID-related expenses, even for medivacs, personal accident coverage of $2,000, and of course emergency medical travel assistance 24/7”

In addition to updates, another question for travelers is whether or not they should test for COVID.

Fontanilla added, “For Philippine nationals, including those who hold dual citizenship, if you’re one of them and you’re vaccinated, with or without the booster shot and as long as they receive the second series or single dose vaccine for more than 14 days then no need to present a negative COVID-19 test.”

However, Philippine nationals who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or have an undetermined vaccination status, must present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours.

Fontanilla said, “For former Filipinos, and foreign nationals, including spouse and children of a former Filipino traveling with them with Balikbayan privileges, the passenger must be fully vaccinated and must have at least one booster shot.”

Foreign nationals who are unvaccinated, partially unvaccinated, or have an undetermined vaccination status are not allowed to travel to the Philippines at this time.
