Philippine’s U.S. Ambassador, Jose Cuisia, Urges Guam’s Filipino Community to Become Politically Active

Guam – The Philippine Ambassador to the United States, Jose Cuisia Jr., arrived on Guam Saturday morning to meet with island leaders and members of  Guam’s Filipino community.
A welcome dinner was held Saturday evening at the Sheraton,  sponsored by the Filipino Community of Guam.

Earlier, a forum with various members of the island’s Filipino community was held at the Hilton.

The forum was entitled “Engaging the Next Generation of Filipino-Americans,” during which Cuisia urged young Filipinos to become politically involved.
Cuisia also met with Governor Calvo, other island diplomats and members of the Guam legislature.

Ambassador Cuisia leaves Guam Monday.
