Here’s an announcement from the management of Sorensen Media Group:

After almost twenty years of presenting news to our island and the region, the Pacific News Center is ready for our next stage of evolution.

The thirty-minute television production of PNC will be taking a temporary hiatus as we reimagine and prepare for the future of news on our island. Sorensen Media Group is grateful to all the anchors and reporters throughout the years who helped grow PNC into
being a trusted news source, and to the people of Guam for supporting what we have done for so long.

It has been an honor to serve our community all these years.

As the landscape of the media evolves, so too must PNC News First. We hope our listeners and viewers will grow along with us. Though we may be signing off from our television broadcast for now, our dedication to bringing you the best and most dependable news journalism has never been stronger.

Please continue to follow us and stay informed through our website at pncguam.com and through all our social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @pncguam, and well as our PNC News app.

Additionally, our island and worldwide community can still receive up to date news information on our radio newscasts on NewsTalk K57 & Power 98.

We will have a continued local television presence through local programming, which will be found on channel 7 and Fox 6. We hope you continue along with us on our journey to improve our product to provide our community with true, fair, and balanced
information that is the mission of Sorensen Media Group.
