Police are questioning potential suspect in fatal stabbing


Guam – Police have a potential suspect in the Yigo fatal stabbing in holding, the person of interest has yet to be identified as police say they are conducting an interview.

The victim is a 33-year old unidentified male. GPD Spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao says when police arrived the victim was unresponsive and bleeding from his chest.

“The male was immediately transported to Guam Regional Medical City, where he was pronounced deceased by attending physicians at 3:31pm,” according to Tapao.

Police responded to the scene on 330 Chalan Paderon Haya, Route 15 at around 2:50 p.m. on Friday, working quickly to identify a person of interest. however, no arrest has been made.
