Police arrest man accused of raping woman outside her Chalan Pago home

Guam – No means no, that’s a lesson one man learned the hard way and now he is behind bars for allegedly raping a woman in Chalan Pago.

Early Thursday morning police received a report of criminal sexual conduct. The man accused: Vincente Aguero.

According to the court complaint, Aguero had texted and called the victim known to him, requesting to have sexual intercourse. The victim told police that she declined the request but did meet with Aguero after her repeatedly asked to speak with her at her home.

The complaint states that when the two met, Aguero allegedly grabbed her hand and took her to the back of the house where he pinned her against the wall touching her inappropriately before he raped her.

The victim told police that she told him to stop but he persisted.

Police say that Aguero, admitted to having sexual intercourse with the victim and that he convinced her to do so, further stating that he had asked her if she wanted him to stop but he did not hear a reply.

Aguero is charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct.

He was booked and confined.
