Guam – A 42-year-old man was arrested yesterday after police seized several stolen items on his property, including two cars that were reported stolen, several firearms and ammunition.

Guam Police Spokesman Officer AJ Balajadia says officers with the Criminal Justice Strike Force went to a property yesterday along Ysengsong Road in Dededo where they arrested John Joseph Onedera. He was charged with theft of property and possession of stolen property.

Armed with a search warrant, officers seized several stolen items, among them two stolen vehicles that had fraudulent plates attached to them, a bush cutter, chainsaw, battery charger, a US passport and several license plates.

Officers also confiscated two shotguns, a .38 caliber pistol and over a 160 rounds of ammunition. Balajadia says the pistol was linked to a burglary reported in 2014.
