Police searching for robbery suspect

Guam – A robbery committed in broad daylight now has local authorities on the hunt for the suspect.

The suspect is described as being in his 40’s or 50’s, possibly local, having a medium build, and black wavy hair. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and blue shorts.

According to GPD Spokesperson officer Paul Tapao, the suspect entered the Baik Acupuncture Clinic in Tamuning where he grabbed the victims purse and fled on foot. Police say that the victim and her husband chased the suspect and confronted him within one of the establishments at the K.G.plaza. During the confrontation the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim and her husband as they struggled over the purse. The suspect was allegedly seen fleeing on foot towards the parking lot of the Guam greyhound Park.
