Port Authority of Guam police officer Frank James San Nicolas has been released from custody over the objection of the Guam Attorney General’s Office.
The 49-year-old officer was arrested last Wednesday on criminal sexual conduct allegations after three women filed complaints against him.
San Nicolas is also known as “Ko” and he is reportedly recognized as a “spiritual healer.”
All three women said they had sought out Officer San Nicolas for his knowledge of traditional healing.
A statement from the attorney general this afternoon says San Nicolas was released over their objections.
Superior Court of Guam Judge Arthur Barcinas placed San Nicolas on house arrest under the supervision of third-party custodians.
San Nicolas is facing two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
