The Guam Waterworks Authority has announced that its contractor will be starting the sewer line rehabilitation of the Route 4 Rehabilitation and Replacement of Sewer Line project.
Heidi Ballendorf, communications manager of GWA, said areas affected are northbound lane closure from McDonald’s to the West O’Brien intersection.
Both the turning lane and inside lane will be closed through Sunday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.
The overall year-long project involves the GWA system improvement project of the rehabilitation and replacement of the sewer line along Route 4 and Route 1, from McDonald’s to Chamorro Village.
The project includes the installation of a 30-inch diameter sewer line, the installation of two new sewer manholes, the rehabilitation of sewer lines using a trenchless technology called Cure-In-Place-Pipe, and manhole rehabilitation throughout the route.
