The price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline dropped 15 cents today.
A gallon of regular unleaded at Mobil now stands at $3.70, down from $3.85 yesterday.
This is the second cut in the price of fuel this week after Tuesday’s 10-cent cut.
Mobil, as usual, was first to drop its price today. 76 was quick to follow at 3 pm this afternoon. Shell is expected to follow suit overnight as they usually do.
This is the sixth change in the price of gasoline this year and the fifth decrease in price.
There has only been one price increase this year, on Jan. 8, when the cost per gallon briefly shot up 10 cents to $4.25 in the wake of Iran’s missile attack on U.S. military installations in Iraq.
