PROA Donates Proceeds to UOG’s Capital Campaign


Guam – Proa Restaurant presented a check to the University of Guam and UOG Endowment Foundation at their restaurant on Tuesday, March 5.

To kick start our second year of the University of Guam’s 60th Anniversary Capital Campaign, Proa graciously accepted to be our Triton Business Partner for the month of January.

The “Triton Business Program” is a partnership between the University of Guam and local businesses that offer “Triton Specials,” in which a portion of the proceeds from the specific item gets donated to the Capital Campaign. Proa pledged to donate $1.00 from every Ribeye Steak Entree and every 12-inch Whole Cake sold at both restaurant locations, Hagatna and Tumon.

“2013 marks our 61st Anniversary celebration of the University of Guam. When local businesses, like Proa, commit to supporting higher education and the Endowment’s mission, our Guam community benefits. We are truly grateful for the support of Proa,” said Mark Mendiola, Executive Director of UOG Endowment Foundation.
