Proclamation Signings to Combat Human Trafficking & Stalking

Guam – Governor Eddie Baza Calvo and Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio are signing 2 proclamations today [Friday] to help raise awareness about and combat the crimes of human trafficking and stalking.

The Governor & Lt. Governor signed the “Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month”  at 8 am today.

And they are signing another proclamation at 1 this afternoon which declares “Stalking Awareness Month.”

Two Proclamations to be Signed Tomorrow

Governor Eddie Baza Calvo and Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio are asking the public to raise their awareness, and recognize the people fighting two crimes.  They will sign two proclamations regarding slavery and human trafficking, and stalking tomorrow:


“Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month” will be proclaimed at 8a.m., in the Cabinet Conference Room at the Bordallo Governor’s Complex.

“Stalking Awareness Month” will be proclaimed at 1p.m., in the Cabinet Conference Room at Bordallo Governor’s Complex.


Governor Calvo and Lt. Governor Tenorio invite all federal and local partners to attend these ceremonies.
