Applications for Prugraman Salappe’ have gone live since 8 am today. Many residents lined up at the ITC Building to pick up applications for the program, which is a one-time $300 aid funded by the American Rescue Plan fund appropriated to Guam.

We’re here at the entrance of the ITC building as this is one of the sites to pick up a hard copy that will allow qualified residents to receive immediate financial assistance in the form of $300.
According to Department of Administration, the Prugråman Salåppe’ Program enables those in the community hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic to meet the surging prices at the pump.
DOA has been tasked to reactivate the Program to provide additional direct aid to individuals and households consistent with ARP Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Funds Final Rule eligibility requirements such as an applicant must reside in Guam for a minimum of 6 months at the time of submitting an application and must meet the gross annual income limit per household.
Cynthia Mesa of Sinajana says the assistance will help with paying bills. She was picking up apllications as well for friends and family who she says doesn’t have a vehicle and plans to use the money toward a washing machine.
You can either apply in person on the 2nd floor of the ITC building weekday from 8am to 5pm or visit doa.guam.gov
According to Krystal Paco-San Agustin, Director of Communications for the Office of the Governor, “As of 2:30 p.m., the Department of Administration (DOA) reports they are in receipt of 3,115 virtual and 200 hard copy applications.”
