Public Health Receives $1-Million Grant to Help Child Vaccinations

Congresswomen Bordallo says the grant will help Public Health provide free vaccinations to children who couldn’t afford it.

Guam – The Department of Pubic Health received a boost from the Federal government today to help improve its immunization and vaccines programs for children. According to a release from Congresswoman Madeline Bordallo, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded Public Health $1-million. The grant was awarded through the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.
