Double Pro Main Event
155 lbs – Ronny Borja (Comquest) vs Micah Tobias (Spike 22)
Bantamweight Championship-135 lbs – Josh Alvarez (Countershot) vs Justin Cruz (Spike 22)
The Bantamweight fight is a five round match and both main events are rematches. Borja and Alvarez were the winners of the previous fights. “We have the best of the best for 155… (Borja and Tobias) are gonna show Guam who is the best 155,”said PXC Promoter Eli Monge.
Not on the card are controversial fighters Alex Castro and Kyle Reyes, who were scheduled to fight Justin Guzman and Tony Reyes respectively. Monge commented saying, “A lot of the fans didn’t want to see the fight, so he has some legal problems he has to take care of and we’re gonna make sure he handles that first and if everything goes well you might be able to see him back at PXC next year.” Castro and Reyes have assault cases pending against them and are on house arrest but on October 12th both men were cleared to fight PXC 21 by the Superior Court.
“PXC 21 will provide a night of exciting action in a safe environment for all MMA fans,” said Joey Calvo, PXC President.
PXC 21 is a fully sanctioned MMA event by the Guam Unarmed Combat Commision, and all fighters, judges and officials have been licensed to participate. Pacific Xtreme Combat is also the first and only mixed-martial arts event promoter to be licensed in Guam to date.
