Guam – The Hotel Santa Fe was buzzing with excitement as the fighters made their official weigh in for tomorrow night’s fights in Pacific Xtreme Combat 22 that will feature five amateur fights and six professional fights for a total of eleven fights for the evening.
The first pro fight is between Guam’s Alex Castro and Hawaii’s Ian Dela Cuesta. Dela Cuesto outweighs Castro by a pound and a half at 147. After that Korea Top Team fighter David Cho will fight Tony Reyes. Reyes outweighs Cho by 4 pounds at 142.5. Joe Taimanglo will step into the cage against Hawaii’s Travis Beyer who will be arriving to the island tonight. Taimanglo weighed in at 145 pounds. 808 Fight Factory fighter Harris Sarmiento will face Korea Top Team’s Kim Jang Yong. Both fighter are even at 154.5 pounds. Then Micah Tobias will try to avenge his loss to Ronny Borja in PXC 21 for the first title match of the night. Both fighters weighed in at 155 pounds. And for the last fight of the night, PXC Heavy weight champion Roque Martinez will defend his belt against Saipan’s Kelvin Fitial. Fitial outweighs Martinez by nine pounds at 244 lbs.
The heavy weight fighters exchanged words with Fitial telling Martinez, “Bring it on!” and Martinez responded with, “You’re going down!”
The PXC 22, Battle For The Belt, is tomorrow night at the UOG Fieldhouse and is sanctioned by the Guam Unarmed Combat Commission.
