Quality Distributors delivered over $30,000 worth of food to The Salvation Army Guam Corps Food Bank.
This marks the 18th consecutive years that Quality continues to donate to support the efforts of the Guam Corps.
Included in the donation are two hundred 50 lb. bags of rice, 4,800 cans of Tulip luncheon meat, turkeys, ham, 400 cases of iced tea for Thanksgiving and to help those in the most need on Guam throughout the year.
“We continue to support the mission of the Guam Corps every year. Quality Distributors is committed to helping those in the most need in our island community,” said Edson Lai, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Quality Distributors in a news release.
“Our Food Pantry program, ‘Client Choice’ operates year-round. We repackage the rice into 5 lb. bags for distribution to the homeless and families who may not qualify for public assistance. Quality Distributors’ annual donation help ensure we have a steady supply of food,” said Major Thomas Stambaugh, Corps Commander of The Salvation Army.
