On Tuesday, November 24th, at 2 pm, Quality Distributors will deliver
over $40,000 worth of food to The Salvation Army Guam Corps Food Bank.

It is the 19th consecutive year of Quality’s support to the Guam Corps.
The donation includes 10,000 lbs. of rice, 4,800 cans of Tulip luncheon meat, turkeys,
hams, paper products, and assorted snacks. The donation helps the Guam Corps food
bank throughout the year.

“Even with or most especially because of the pandemic, we made it a point to give
more, knowing that there are a lot of Guamanians who need help. We know that The
Salvation Army continues to help many in our island community,” said Edson Lai, Vice
President of Sales and Marketing at Quality Distributors.

“COVID-19 put our food bank into overdrive. We’ve served close to 10,000 families
since the beginning of the pandemic. So many people who have lost their livelihood
depend on us for food. Quality Distributors stepped up to give more,” said Captain Eric
Rudd, Corps Commander of The Salvation Army.

“This is the third time that they’re making a major donation this year. Quality made
other donations since the pandemic started in March. We are deeply grateful for their
generosity. They’re helping feed so many people on Guam.” Captain Rudd added.
