Rangers Rout Twins While Redhawks Pick Up First Win Over Jets

Hagatna, Guam –  The Talofofo Rangers scored eight runs in the top of the 6th inning to lock up the 14-6 win over the Twins in the Monday night edition of the Guam Budweiser Masters Baseball League (GBMBL) at Paseo.

Jorge Pecina got the win on the mound, with Denis Rivera taking the loss.

For the Rangers, Rick Tedtaotao was 2-4, two triples, two RBI, and two runs scored. Roland Cruz was 2-3, an RBI, and a run scored. Robbie Rabago was 2-3, two RBI, and two runs scored. Zach Barcinas was 1-1, a double, SacFly, three RBI, and a run scored. Ray Flores was 1-1, a double, an RBI, and a run scored. 

For the Twins, Frank Mariano was 1-2, a triple, and a run scored. Jose Cabarles was 2-3, an RBI, and a run scored. Lynwood Baker went 1-4, a double, an RBI, and a run scored. Marvin Manibusan was 1-1, with two RBI. Kevin Mayberry was 1-1, a double, and a run scored. Paul Jordan was 1-1, a double, an RBI, and a run scored.

In the nightcap, the Yona Redhawks got their first win of the season with the 10-5 victory over the Net Tours Jets. Pete Leon Guerrero got the win, while James Mata suffered the loss.
