Rapadas Wins AG’s Race; Quintanilla to Agat Vice Mayor; Sanchez, Palomo & Hara Keep CCU Seats


Guam –  Lenny Rapadas is the apparent winner of the race for Guam Attorney General. According to unofficial results, the former U.S. Attorney  won 17,838 votes, just over 5-thousand more than challenger Gary Gumataotao.

Agustin Quintanilla claims the Agat Vice-Mayoral race defeating Derrick Hills by 196 votes.

Delegate Madeline Bordallo of course was unchallenged and will return to Washington as Guam’s non-voting representative in Congress.

In the election for the Consolidated Commission on Utilities, Simon Sanchez, Benigno Palomo and Eloy Hara will retain their seats on the CCU, there were no challengers in that race either.

And Voters agreed to retain Superior Court Judges Anita Sukola and Guam Supreme Court Justice Philip Carbullido.
