A man with a criminal history has been incarcerated again after being accused of invading a home and threatening its owner with a knife.
According to court documents, Mario Espinoza Jr. is serving jail time for going into a house in Ordot to rob its owner at knifepoint.
The victim told police that on Dec. 3, Espinoza woke him by tapping on his foot with a knife. The victim says that Espinoza demanded money and proceeded to frisk the homeowner as well as take his wallet.
Police report that with a knife against his chest, Espinoza forced the homeowner to remove an air conditioning unit and place it into his truck.
Espinoza has been charged with home invasion with the special allegation of use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony and second-degree robbery. He was booked and confined.
