Department of Revenue and Taxation director Dafne Shimizu says they were notified yesterday of the email received by many claiming to be from D.R.T. The email references an overpayment notice from 2018 and contains an attached pdf file. Shimzu says they were told about the email yesterday evening, and have determined that it did not originate from the agency’s servers, although they still aren’t sure where it came from. At this point, it appears the email does not contain a virus, and the Marianas Regional Fusion Center is investigating.
