Guam – The RIGALU FOUNDATION will donate two (2) dual Speed centrifuge machines to the GMH laboratory blood bank. Centrifuges are needed to check patients’ blood types and to do cross-matches to make blood available for transfusions.
The GMH Blood Bank needs centrifuges to provide blood for patient care needs.
The equitment is valued at $6,586. The donation will be mde this Friday at 10 am.
These centrifuges are critical to daily blood test procedures and will allow for increased accuracy, efficiency and turnaround time for patient blood tests ordered at GMH. All media organizations are invited to attend this special media presentation.
